Week 14 Summary: Indiana was the most mortal bet of the year. Will not make that mistake again. Cignetti out for blood coming off a loss.
Week 15 Preview: I have my finger to the pulse of the college football playoff.
Week 15 Premium Plays: Kids are getting Christmas presents this year. You’re welcome.
Boise State -4 vs UNLV (2 units): Not sure if I have hit a Friday bet all year but here we are again. Line looks like it is 4.5 on most books but I am buying the half here. These teams faced off towards the end of October which resulted in a 5 point, 29-24 Broncos victory. Revenge obviously a factor here but in October Jeanty was banged up and UNLV had a focused coaching staff. Au contraire, big bear. This time around the aforementioned narrative has flipped. Jeanty is healthy again and tearing up defenses like he was in the first half of the season. Regarding the UNLV coaching staff, offensive coordinator Brendon “GoGo” Marion has been openly flirting with schools across the country looking to make a move to P5. The guy is a scumbag and I could absolutely see him calling it quits on the season with a brighter days ahead for his coaching career. GoGo offense sputters and Jeanty does his thing here. Buy the hook for safety, 31-21.
Arizona State -1 vs Iowa State (2 units): I’ll take leader of men Kenny Dillingham over poopy pants Matt Campbell any day of the week. The Sun Devils are in a little bit better form than Iowa State coming down the stretch. Expect ASU RB Cam Skattebo to run for about 200 and 3 TDS on the ground against a Cyclones defense allowing 180 yards on the ground per game. Sam Leavitt is dangerous enough with the ball to open up the defense and should have time to throw against a struggling Iowa State defensive front. Sun Devils win in a wild one, 34-28.
Oregon -3 vs Penn State (3 units): After the natty, I think we look back and kick ourselves for how obvious Oregon was. Similar to Florida State in 2013, after the Clemson game where they left the Tigers’ asshole singing opera, there was never a doubt the Noles were going to win it all. Same thing here. Oregon is hands down the best team in college football led by an absolute lunatic in Dan Lanning. The numbers aren’t going to dictate the narrative here as Penn State and Oregon are very similar statistically. Just gotta have some feel. The mental midget James Franklin narrative has been cemented and this Nittany Lions team is not the team to overturn it. Penn State may have the defensive edge but their offense is their achilles heel. Tik Tok boy Drew Allar deserves zero respect and I see Oregon keeping the lid on Penn State. Line hovering around 3.5. I like 3.5, I love 3. Buy the hook for the right price. Probably won’t need it but the feeling of buying the hook and it paying off is similar to meth. Or so I’ve been told. Ducks roll, 31-17.
Week 15 Leans:
Iowa State/Arizona State over 49.5: These teams have covered in the last 9/10 games combined.
SMU -2.5 vs Clemson: I don’t trust Clemson’s offense to keep up
Sincerely,
William Tickets
